PCM EcoMoineau™ MVA-FF Force Feeding Progressive Cavity Pumps

Viscous, pasty, sticky, high-solids, or solid-containing fluids are common in many environmental applications. They are suited to harsh conditions requiring the use of well-adapted pumps. The MSH is constructed with an Archimedean screw for manual or gravity feeding of highly viscous or low flow fluids. Depending on the product being pumped, you will have the choice of using the closed or open Archimedean screw.

Open Archimedean screw: perfectly meeting the transfer constraints of sticky products, it allows the fluid to circulate between its core and its perforated coils, thus avoiding any risk of compaction. The Archimedean screw with open coils is the best solution to the risk of possible overflow of the hoppers.

Closed Archimedean screw: specially designed for non-sticky viscous products, it offers a very high conveying efficiency thanks to the optimized surface of its turns. The Archimedean screw with closed coils guarantees optimal force feeding of the sludge.

MSH Progressive Cavity Pump with hopper

The MF will fit into small spaces thanks to a design that replaces the connecting rod with an armatureless floating stator and an elastomeric pad. The flexibility of the stator and pad allows the rotor to rotate off-center, with the rotor directly linked to the motor. This allows for a shorter pump body.

Capable of transferring a wide range of viscous or solid-based fluids, these pumps offer very good suction capacity and are ideal for diluted polymer dosing.

The pump has been designed with the food and cosmetic industries in mind. The parts in contact with the product are food grade seals, elastomers, or 316 stainless steel with a 304 stainless base frame.

The pump is driven by a direct-mounted light alloy maintenance-free motor with IP55 protection. The part of the diaphragm in contact with the pumped liquid is in chemically inert PTFE, and pumpheads are available in several material combinations.

The capacity of the pump is set by adjusting a micrometre graduated dial that can be locked in position.

The hose is the wear part within the pump, so maintenance is easily handled on-site. Downtimes are short, thanks to a unique hose quick release allowing hose change in only a few minutes
