										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<h2>Homogenisation is the process where the particle size in the product (measured in µm) is broken down and dispersed throughout</h2>
<p>The most common application for homogenisation in dairy is to disperse the cream in milk or ice cream mix into a homogenous emulsion, preventing future cream separation and keeping the product in a consistent state over time.</p>
<p>Homogenisation occurs via mechanical means, the product is subjected to high pressure/velocity as it is forced through a small orifice causing turbulence and cavitation thus high shear breaking the particles down and dispersing them throughout.</p>
<p>Homogenisers are also used for various different pharmaceutical or laboratory applications. With a fully integrated design and process team at Thermaflo, we are able to specify the correct homogeniser and high-pressure pump units specifically for your application.</p>

Each machine is equipped with a self-contained freon &#8216;refrigeration&#8217; unit, and is designed for easy installation and increased mobility in the factory.</p>
<p>The range boasts uniquely designed high-efficiency barrels that are capable of cooling an entering ice cream solution to ultra-low temperatures in a matter of seconds. As a result of this exceptionally quick ability to freeze, the machines ensure that ice molecules don’t have time to form, producing a hard, dry and luxurious end product each and every time.</p>

<p>With a maximum ingredient dispensing capacity of 200kgs per hour from its 30-litre hopper, the RIF 1500 utilises a Lamella pumping system to ensure that it can easily handle a wide variety of products including chocolate, toffee, sweets, candy, fruit and jams. Furthermore, each is supplied with two feed augers which are machined to different pitches to ideally suit the size of the supplementary ingredient being added and guarantee a steady, controlled feed.</p>
<p>The RIF 1500 ice cream ingredient feeder is fully adjustable with three internal variable speed motors that independently control the auger, pump and blender, allowing manufacturers to easily and accurately manage the process from beginning to end.</p>

<p><strong>Adaptable blender:</strong> The machine can easily handle a wide variety of products such as chocolate, toffee, sweets, candy, fruit and jams. The in-hopper agitator also keeps the particulate in the jams in suspension.</p>
<p><strong>Fully adjustable: </strong>The machine is fully adjustable with three variable-speed motors that independently control the auger, pump and blender.</p>
