Microfiltration
Microfiltration refers to the application of membranes with pore size ranging from 0.05 μm to 2 μm and allows for the fractionation and clarification for products such as milk, whey, water, juice, milk fat, casein etc

Ultrafiltration
Ultrafiltration membranes have pore sizes ranging from 0.1 μm to 0.01 μm

Nanofiltration
Nanofiltration membranes have pores sized from 0.001 μm to 0.01 μm

Reverse Osmosis
Reverse osmosis (RO) is the tightest/finest separation membrane process available, pore sizes range from 0.0001 μm to 0.001 μm.
Applications of Reverse Osmosis
- Concentration
- Skim milk
- Whey
- Lactose
- Apple juice
- Purification
- Condensate water treatment for reuse
- Wastewater treatment (prior to disposal or for reuse in the process)
